After all the demonic, apocalyptic storylines going on throughout Sleepy Hollow from its beginning I was wondering if and when Abbie and Ichabod would get some divine help from above. In tonight’s winter premiere we will be introduced to Orion (Max Brown), our angel!

Our pals at Give Me My Remote spoke with showrunner Mark Goffman recently and he talks about Orion a bit: “We’re going to encounter an angel in our midseason premiere,” SLEEPY HOLLOW showrunner Mark Goffman shared with Give Me My Remote earlier this month. “And I think that’s pretty exciting and is going to change the dynamic for our team.” – (See more at GMMR) He’ll also be sporting an interesting weapon. Orion’s Belt maybe?

It seemed inevitable that an angel would have to be introduced, especially if you’re going to dabble in biblical events as big as the Apocalypse. I only hope he’s not going to be the kind of angel we saw in the CW’s “Supernatural”. Loveable as Castiel was, he was a bit of a wimp and I ended up not liking that character at all. I’m hoping for an angel who can stand up to what’s in store for Abbie and Ichabod, whatever that may be.

Speaking of the aftermath of the midseason finale, I’m also wondering what will become of Henry/Jeremy. Being the Horseman of War has to leave its mark. And without Moloch what’s to become of him and Abraham?

I can’t wait to find out! Watch the Sleepy Hollow winter premiere, “Paradise Lost”, tonight at 9/8c on Fox.

Synopsis

Ichabod and Abbie meet Orion, an angel who may be able to help them in the aftermath of their showdown with Moloch. Meanwhile, Katrina isn’t quite ready to give up on Abraham.
