Tarsem Singh’s decidedly family-friendly Mirror Mirror opens this Friday, while Rupert Sanders darker and grittier take on the Snow White fairy tale, Snow White and the Huntsman, will be released in June. In this exclusive interview with the director, he discusses his approach to the film and desire to make the fantasy very real.
Just wondering what the general consensus is out there: do you prefer your Snow White family friendly like Mirror Mirror or harder-edged as in Snow White and the Huntsman?
I’m leaning toward The Huntsman. Mirror Mirror looks pretty, and yet boring.
